Terms of Use
Last revised: 16 July 2026
1. Acceptance
By using cleanysmac.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If any part doesn't suit you, please don't use the Site.
2. Using the Site
You may use the Site for your own personal reference. Please don't try to disrupt it, access it with automated tools at a scale that burdens our servers, or use it for anything unlawful.
3. Educational nature
Our walkthrough is general educational guidance. We test our steps on current macOS, but software changes and every setup differs. You're responsible for what you do on your own device, so please back up your Mac — for example with Time Machine — before making changes.
A backup takes only a few minutes and turns almost any misstep into something you can simply undo. We suggest one before you begin.
4. Content & ownership
The text, layout, and original graphics here belong to Cleany Mac and are protected by law. You may link to our pages and quote short excerpts with credit, but please don't republish substantial portions without permission. Apple, Mac, MacBook, and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Cleany Mac is independent and unaffiliated with Apple Inc.
5. Third-party links
We sometimes link to other websites for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
6. No warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise the Site will be uninterrupted or that any step will produce a specific result on your device.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Cleany Mac and its contributors won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing here removes liability that can't be removed under applicable law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last revised" date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site afterwards means you accept the update.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of our place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled by the courts with competent jurisdiction there unless local consumer law provides otherwise.
